Patrick Henneberry, a farmhand at Stony Creek, threw feed for the laying hens on a cloudy December morning. One of the Marsiglio's challenges in operating Stony Creek is keeping abreast of the many and varied demands of a diversified farm. Thus last summer they ceded responsibility and most of the earnings of their vegetable operation to Hennebery, who lives in a small cabin on the farm and helps with chores through the winter months.
